Created in collaboration with phenomenal longboarder and master shaper Chris Schlickenmeyer, the Slick integrates the elements of a classic pivot fin together with some distinctive design changes for a more progressive performance. This fin showcases a narrower base, an extended and narrow tip, and slightly less area overall.
Akin to a pivot-style fin, the Slick provides a solid noseriding feel, but it also won’t feel as much like an anchor. Thanks to its nuanced characteristics, you’ll be doing long, smooth, flowing arcs on the regular. And don’t be afraid to ride this in some swell either – the Slick performs at the highest level in all kinds of conditions.

Run the Slick on a noserider or all-around longboard when you want nose time plus the ability to actually turn the board through long, flowing arcs — it noserides like a classic pivot fin but feels less like an anchor. If your only goal is planted nose time, the Smith / Parrish Full Base anchors harder; for a looser, trim-first glide feel, look at the Skip Frye single.
