Introducing the Noriega Twin, designed by master surfboard builder and craftsman Danny Hess.
Introducing the Noriega Twin, designed by master surfboard builder and craftsman Danny Hess. These twin fins were created for endless down the line speed, glide and trim. The well-balanced template is perfect for smooth arcing turns and easy transitions for any fishy type craft. If you know Danny's work, then you know that everything he touches and creates is nearly flawless... this twin fin design is no exception.
Created for endless down the line speed, glide and trim -- a well-balanced template that is perfect for smooth arcing turns and easy transitions for any fishy type craft.
For an alternative fish or wide-tailed twin ridden for glide: long down-the-line speed and smooth, arcing turns with easy rail-to-rail transitions. It is not built for tight, snappy surfing -- quick acceleration and pivot off the tail is a different fin's job.
The Danny Hess Noriega Twin is a twin-keel fin set designed by San Francisco shaper Danny Hess and made by True Ames in solid fiberglass with Futures-compatible bases. The template has a wide base and substantial area, designed for alternative-style fishes and wide-tailed twins. Hess conceived the Noriega as the twin in his lineup, with a matched quad intended for bigger, more powerful waves.
A raked, minimal-area twin for pure glider trim, where the Noriega is a full keel that drives harder off its base.
The quicker, pivot-off-the-tail choice; the Noriega is the mellower, more traditional glide-first option.
Hess's matched quad, conceived to handle bigger, more powerful waves than the twin.
