This fin has been in the True Ames template library from the beginning.
Responds exceedingly well to turns, while maintaining the ability to noseride.
This is the single fin for a classic 9' to 9'6" log when you want both nose time and real turns out of one fin — it leans classic and planted, the better pick if nose time matters as much as turning. If you want more drive and life through turns on a performance log or mid-length, the Greenough 4A is the move; if pure locked-down noseriding is the goal, a heavier pivot template holds longer.
The Nat Young is a longboard single fin made by True Ames in solid fiberglass, 9.5" tall in one size, sized for boards in the 9' to 9'6" range. The template's lines come from the single-fin revolution era; Nat Young's 1966 "Magic Sam" carried a swept-back Greenough fin, and this template carries that turn-oriented lineage.
