A great all around template, these fins offers that extra level of stability, projection, and hold you are looking for out of ythe setup. The side bites are offered in six different sizes, so you can find a set to meet any style of board or any sort of need! However... the 3.7" are the most often recommended size for 2+1's.

The True Ames Side Bite 3.7 is a 3.70-inch-tall side bite pair in solid fiberglass with FCS-compatible bases, intended for longboard 2+1 setups on boards in the 9'0" to 9'6" range. True Ames recommends pairing it with a 7-inch to 7.5-inch center fin. The same template is also stocked in lighter Hexcore construction and with Futures bases, and a smaller 3.25-inch size is offered for mid-lengths.
